Complete Roofing puts siding on new construction and additions across Wakefield, NE. Our ISA-certified installers focus on what goes behind the panels as much as the panels themselves, because that is where a wall is won or lost.
Think of siding as the outer layer of a system. On a new home or addition there is nothing to remove first, so the work starts clean at the sheathing: a moisture barrier, flashing at every opening, and then the visible cladding. Each layer depends on the one beneath it. If one is rushed, the others cannot make up for it, which is why a quality installation spends most of its effort on parts nobody sees once the job is done.
The early signs are mild: a bit of staining below a window, trim that swells in wet weather. Later come soft sheathing, mold in the cavity, and framing that has to be opened up. All of it traces back to missed flashing, misplaced fasteners, or barrier that was never lapped properly, mistakes that cost little to avoid and a lot to fix.
1. Pre-job review. Plans, selections, and sheathing condition are checked, and trim and transition details are settled with you.
2. Barrier installed. The weather-resistant barrier goes on in overlapping layers with taped seams so every drop of water is directed downward and out.
3. Openings protected. Windows, doors, and penetrations are flashed in proper sequence, which stops the most common leak paths before they form.
4. Siding installed. Material is laid straight and fastened exactly as the maker specifies, leaving space for natural expansion.
5. Final inspection. A last look with you or your builder covers every wall, and the site is left tidy.
Wall area, how many corners and openings the house has, the material selected, and how our work fits into the building schedule all play a role. We cover these in detail before you commit.
ISA certification for every installer, manufacturer-specified fastening and flashing, and a written workmanship warranty on completed installations. These are baseline expectations, not extras.
Yes. We fit into the construction sequence, arriving after framing and windows are in and keeping in touch with the builder about timing.
We install the options that make sense for Wakefield, NE homes and walk you through how they compare on cost, care, and lifespan.
Absolutely. It is the drainage plane. When moisture slips past the siding, the wrap sends it down and out instead of letting it reach the framing.
As early as framing allows on new builds. For additions or detached structures, call when planning starts and we will propose a realistic schedule.
It is. We warrant workmanship in writing and explain how the manufacturer's separate product warranty applies.
